Session Saver Extension

For Firefox/Mozilla fans, this plugin named SessionSaver has a feature many users want…

Its saves all the tabs and the state you have before it crashes or closes. Something from Opera and Maxthon I wanted in Firefox.

I like to say many “power features” usually do not come with a good but simple software but with its plugins. Other extensions for firefox I’m currently using.

NYP Graduation

28 July 2005, Thursday

At NYP for receiving my graduation certification and attending the ceremony.

I booked out the night before, missed the 8pm fastcraft, missed the shuttle to interchange, missed the next SBS bus to pasi ris, alighted not at the idea bus stop, took a bus to Yishun, took a wrong bus again, landing me up at woodlands, took the MRT back and reached home 12 midnight.

I wished I had more time to talk to others and take photos but I had to rush back to book in 4.30pm (The company booked out to visit the NDP carnival and fired some SAR21 blanks). No matter how bad the day could be, I still manage to get some photos here ;-)

My "classmates". Lots of people were and werent there so it was hard to find everyone to take picture together.

Visit to the National Library

Today I took a trip to visit the new National Library. Although its seems to be the biggest building for libraries in Singapore, you might be a little disappointed there. The main library is like the size of NTUC supermarkets found in shopping center basement.

Aligned at Doby dought, this the first time I noticed a number of photos of historic buildings on the walls underground. There I learnt some historic importance of Plaza Singapura, MPH, YMCA, National Library…

Thinking about it, Libraries and Reading was one my pastimes. My interest in programming spawn when I was 10 due to some programming books I stumbled at the then AMK Community Library.

After I moved to a new house in Yishun, the Linear distance between my home and library was no more than 50m.

From secondary days, I spent large amount of time (canteen breaks and after school time) in the library. In sec 2 to 4, I became a librarian there.

After secondary school, I must have made some effort visiting almost all NLB branches in Singapore at least once.

Some interesting books I stumped upon.

Some WWII books with photos.
