On my search for better solutions for images in wordpress, I visited…

What I tried previously seems not to be what I wanted. They are gallery systems integration with wordpress. Gallery, Gallery2, Coppermine, Flickr, might do someone’s job but the integration doesnt seem right in a perspective of a wordpress only user.

I could categorise the next family of “photo galleries for wordpress”, `Dumping Directory to Posts`.

Picasa(No resizing needed on server), Picture Glue(getting pics from an uploaded folder), iimageGallery - (MARKUP) Lazy - (MARKUP )Snail - SUPPORT THUMBS + MARKUP Simple Image - (SIMPLE MARKUP)

but I would rather have the photos “processed” before the post is submitted.
Exhibit, IImage browser, PhotoPress does the job…

So my choice now is PhotoPress!

Improvements:
a) Zip Support
b) Mid size thumbnails
c) Directory support
d) Batch inserts
e) Delete feature
f) Single window

Then again if my find myself hacking fruitlessly at it… most likely I have to write my own script.
