Google The Dog Joshua joined us last night at 11pm. He showed up at the door of the motel room with all his baggage. HAven’t seen him for 1 year already.
We started the day by waking up at 9am. took our time and checked out at almost 11am. Had free breakfast in the motel consisting of bread and coffee.
After which we drove to Monterey Bay Aquarium. It is 100x better than sentosa underwater world. the marine life exhibit is extensive. it is a 2 storey building and there are marine life we can see near the beach and those in the deep ocean. We spent almost 4hours there because there r simply too much to see.
After that we drove to carmel by the sea. too upmarket for us. everything looks expensive. houses look expensive too. so we left and joshua googled a place for seafood cos after seeing all the aquarium fishes, we want to eat them. haha. so we drove back to monterey (2miles) and went to sea harvest fish market. about $20/pax for seafood lunch/dinner. quite nice. we also ordered fresh oysters.
after dinner, we drove to morro bay (120miles) using costal highway 1. a very long winding scenic drive. scary at times. make me car sick too.. the view was stunning. have to be there in person to witness it.
went to hearst castle on the way too. took some pictures and left. then we arrived in morro bay to see the famous ROCK. nothing much in this town except food. we wasn’t hungry. So we pumped petrol. a different system compared to sg. got to pay at the counter and tell them how much u want to pump. then u pay and pump. if u paid too much, got to go get refund from cashier.
joshua then took over as driver at 9pm and drove to camarillo (170miles). we arrived at 1130pm in Camarillo Good nite inn. that marks the end of day 4.

Google The Dog started the day off by taking bus to San Francisco Farmer Market @ Ferry plaza. it is a market for farmers to sell off their produce. Alot of organics stuff and prices are generally more expensive. But the produce looks amazingly good. The quality is there!
Joc cheated on bus fare today! she put 50cents only and forgot to put in a $1 bill. fare cheateR! a bus ticket is valid for a 90mins transfer on any bus. So we used the same ticket to take to farmer market and then back to hotel. good deal.
Had oyster in farmer market. US$1.50 each. very very fresh! maybe they caught it last night? Super fresh. very different from the oysters we have in singapore.
bought a bag of organic salad mix vegetable. $6/LB. pick and mix. paid $3.25. 25cents for a bio-degradable plastic bag. it is an eco friendly place here.
Next we got our car, drove towards Monterey. Took a wrong route and ended up in San Mateo Road. So glad we ended up there. we manage to get $1 hot dog set!! hot dog with bun and a bag of kettle chips all for just $1! it is a donation project. think some company sponsor the food. all we have to do is donate $1/set. We donated $2/set. the person was so stunned… anyway the supermarket sells alot of organic stuff. there are ready hot food for purchase. $8/LB. we spent $10 to buy a chicken breast, a slice of lasagna, and a few pieces of thai style cooked chicken. then there are free tasting of chocolate cake! wow wow place
after lunch, drove to pigeon point light house, then walmart, then to hotel. At walmart, there was a $1 deal for Betty Crokcer Fudge Brownies. Bought a paw shaver for good. $13. cheap too.
Staying in a motel. a big downgrade from hilton

Google The Dog took bus from hotel to Golden Gate Bridge. first took bus 38. then transfer to bus 28. feels like i have conquered their public transport successfully. it is so easy!
GGB is so windy and the winds are so chilly. Average temp was around 13-18. damn cold.
after that dinner @ denny’s. food was bad. spent US$30++.
after that was already 9+pm. walked around and took cable car back to hotel.

Google The Dog started the day at 8am. took cable car to chinatown. had a wonderful dim sum breakfast. good thing i speak cantonese because the chinese speaks mostly cantonese here.
after breakfast, took a bus to the beach where ghirardelli square is near. went in to look at chocolates. walked the beach.
then walked to fisherman wharf at pier 45, 43.5 and 39. tourist trap.
then bought postcards 10 for $1. had starbuck and a clam chowder with sour dough bread. bread is not nice. chowder is yummy!
then took bus back to chinatown to buy fruits. strawberry at $1/punnet. berries are freaking cheap too.
fruits are generally very cheap here. then left chinatown and went to victoria secret near hotel.
reached hotel at 4pm.
will be going to Golden gate bridge at 6pm. sunset is at 8++

Google The Dog started our journey from Singapore Changi airport @ 830am. flew to HK for transit.
left HK at 1430hrs and 12hrs 30mins later….. we reached san francisco. the flight was a torture…. the seat is not comfortable. hate it.
Slept in hotel for 4hrs after check in because by then, we had not had any sleep for 24hrs.
Went out for dinner and to take in the sights of Downtown San Francisco, particularly around Union Sq.

Personal Had our family gathering BBQ yesterday at Pasir Ris Park. Pit costs $20! didn’t know it is so expensive.
This is by far the best BBQ because of the food we had. No burnt food this time. The last BBQ i had with my relatives was a nightmare (2yrs ago)! One guy occupied the pit and BBQ everything….. and he sucks at it.. all the food ended up burnt. And he didn’t eat any of the stuff he bbq and left! We could only bbq whatever was left uncooked…
No such problem this time, because the guy is long gone. doubt he will appear again. cheers.

Google The Dog Before Daddy goes on his long holiday (@#$!%^&#) he turn me into a naked dog. My fur is so short now.
Because Daddy is on a budget, he gave me his "$20" dog Full grooming session. It includes shaving down, trimming of legs fur and eye brows and beard, plucking & cleaning of ears, bathing and blowing dry. This typical full grooming session will cost $50 at a proper dog grooming shop. What can you expect from a $20 budget session? 
Disappointment…
But it’s ok, cause Prince (neighbour’s dog) looks worst than me! haha! Had a short 5mins play with him. He always growl at me when i smell his ding-dong and ass.
Finally he sneaked into my house and straight to Daddy’s room to release his load! If it was me who did this, I would be in living hell….

USA Trip 2009 Started packing bag already… seems like a lot of things to pack. afraid of forgetting anything.
Google keeps running about, seriously wonder if he knows what is happening… somehow believe he could sense we are gonna go away for a while. Maybe that’s why he is enticing us to play with him.
Lazy to pack already, so here i am posting photos. shall continue tomorrow

Google The Dog Daddy cooked for me yummy food again. Today’s ingredient includes Beef, Anchovies, Egg, Chye Sim and Pasta. It feeds me for 2 serving and i still managed to finish everything!
After lunch, everyone went out of the house leaving me home alone yet again….. So here are some photos of their outing without me! humpf!
The car is too small to fit daddy comfortably. No wonder I prefer Daddy’s Van than mummy’s blackie car.
