My Monday Evening

Monday Evening well spent with daddy n mummy. what’s up for dinner? Stir fried Fish fillet with egg and chye sim and pasta. Yummo. Look at daddy’s cooking….

JB Short trip

Checked causeway traffic at around 2pm. Bad jam…. so went to nap… checked the traffic again at 3+pm. looks slightly better so we tried our luck.

Kranji station was not crowded. Bus 170 queue was very short but the bus that came were quick packed. We were the last 2 to get on board and had to stand on the steps. Singapore custom was a breeze because of bus lane! yeah so much faster than all u private cars.

Then we spent 30mins on bus 170 to reach malaysia customs. Good thing we had a seat. A blessing for us. Getting our passport stamped was not long, and so we reached city square at around 430pm. Bought movie ticket for Angels & Demons. Woofy couldn’t understand the story la! Good thing i did. Not a must-catch movie. Can do without….

As we were quite full, we only bought 1 mcdonald meal for dinner. Both of us bought shoes! RM70 and RM15! After the movie, it was around 10pm. and we reached Kranji at around 1045pm. Next time we shall go in the morning for the chicken chop that i wanted to try………..

[Mod] NextGen Plugin combined with Geotag Plugin

Geotag plugin – allows tagging of photos on the world map based on the coordinates of  the photo taken. this plugin allows wordpress user to display a map on their blog entry and it will tag any photos in the same entry that has GPS coordinates

NextGen plugin – a gallery plugin for wordpress for display lots and lots of photos easily. photos are category into different gallery and it comes with a unique flash based player for viewing the photos as a slideshow.

The original Geotag plugin only includes pictures that are added to each blog post like this taylor swift image below. Adding such picture is slow because i have to upload each pic one at a time. even if i ftp all photos to the server, i still have to paste the url. So i need to find a way for it to tag pictures that are added via NextGen plugin.

The nextgen gallery is shown below and i was able to upload all the pics within seconds and i just have to add the gallery id into this post and the gallery will be visible below. My mod makes geotag plugin read all the thumbnails in the gallery below and if it finds gps coordinates in the thumbnail, it will display the thumbnails on the gmap below.

Initially, all thumbnails of the original photos uploaded via nextgen will be stripped off its EXIF data. The full EXIF is present in the full size photo but not the thumbnail! no thanks to php GD…without exif data, the thumbnail do not have GPS coordinate. without GPS coordinate, geotag cannot tag the pics to the map. I changed some nextgen codes to use PEL so that it can add in the original EXIF data into the thumbnail. Next i edited Geotag plugin to process the thumbnails and eventually they will be displayed on the map. Maybe i should release this as a full plugin and release it to wordpress plugin website? Look at the google map below!

Start of Durian Season 2009

It’s our favourite period of the year. it’s the durian season between Mid may to July every year. cheap and abundance of durian! Even me the grey one likes durian.

Daddy actually drove a 16 years old Lorry to Jurong West to buy durian. I was onboard! my first time in lorry. well of cause i prefer kangeroo as i get a whole sofa to myself at the back of it… in the lorry, it’s a different story. There should be cheaper durian next month. 5 for $10? 6 for $10!? Yummmy

Tug of war

Just had a game of “ Tug of War” with mummy. Haha she is not my match of coz. Come come im open to challenge. Champions are always lonely heee. Jokingz…  

I play the rough way to win! Shhh that’s my trademark and secret to win. I will nibble if you try to snatch my towel and if you don’t touch my towel, I will pretend to be uninterested too…  Haha that’s how I lure you to play with me.

My old white towel rug toy is missing… is it that grandma thought its hers and took it to wipe her face Gosh it was so full of my sweet aroma SALIVA…… Slurp Slurp…….

Just now grandma took a rug to wipe my feet coz I went to the corridor for a sprint! I thought no one is watching… I quickly snip up the rug from the floor and play with it. Silly me, I didn’t know the towel was luminous pink Coz everything looks black and white to me, then Within seconds Mummy caught me.. Luckily she didn’t punish me, instead she took the clean hankie I used to wipe my mouth after meals and let me play. Muackz mummy I love you.

She thought I’ve grown up and took the scary squeaky drumstick out for me again.. Im so scared… she tries to con me by tying the clean hankie to the drumstick hoping that I will play with it coz I like to play with hankie or towel… but Im a clever boy. I ignored her… and refuse to go near the scary drumstick!!!! Im still a little boi… forever a little boi

Then mummy says I “ Si GAO” duno good or bad… hahah. I take it as a compliment then.
