Google The Dog The date was 28 June 2008 – 4 months after Daddy's Bday and 3 months before Mummy's Bday. I had my first ever birthday party (don't know why mummy chose 28 June for my party). Lots of human food, as well as dog food for me. I received 4 presents and a cake and lots of fun playing. More than 10 people turned up and a few were willing to be photographed.
The People
First up we have a young girl girl who is not afraid of me. Kept molesting me and kept me entertained throughout the entire party.

Google The Dog Just before lunch today, Daddy took some photos of me. After one week of resting and rehabilitation, I am pretty well!
I can run, jump and do almost anything before i was sick. Vet says I will do another blood test 3 months later to determine if my liver is in tip-top condition!
Here goes my photo shoot! Very picture intensive ok?

Google The Dog Google is rather weak now so he can’t tell his story. He is recovering well and should start blogging soon… Meanwhile this is his horrifying story.
Sunday night, 15 June 08, Google took some orange juice and honey water. He had heavy breathing not long after but gradually returned to normal. The following day, Google had no appetite and skipped all his meals for the day.
Come tuesday morning, he ate some chicken porridge, went for his daily walk and seems to be fine. At around 4pm, his eyes became droopy, tired and he sat on the floor with his eyes closed, panting heavily away. I took his temperature and it was 40C! He was running a fever and was so exhausted and weak. When Google’s mummy reached home at 630pm, we took him to the nearest vet immediately.
At 7pm+, Google was at the vet. Temperature was taken, 2 injections given (antibiotics & fever) and nothing else was done. Google’s eyes was still droopy… Vet only mentioned that Google is very tired… His lungs is cleared. Gave us antibiotics & fever tabs and sent us home. Total cost $81.
That night, Google couldn’t sleep at all and we know he is suffering. He stumbled when he walked, and even fell. He couldn’t walk to kitchen to urine and had urined anywhere he is. He panted with every breath… I slept beside him to ensure he is looked after. He managed to lie down at around 2am and started moving again at 4am.. It was a really scary night and the first time we saw Google this sick.
Wednesday morning, Google managed to eat some chicken porridge, walked slowly and panted. Looks like he is recovering… but we were WRONG! At noon, his droopy eyes came back, panted even more. Couldn’t walk anymore… We took him to the vet and arrived at 2pm. It was another Vet on duty and he listened to Google’s lungs. It is not cleared, it is congested. Thus affecting his breathing. I questioned the vet why did the other vet said it was cleared last night yet he was also panting?? Vet couldn’t gave me a satisfactory answer. Placed Google on drip, took his blood for blood test and hospitalized him. He was placed in a small cage as shown here….. it was such a sad sight to witness!

The blood was drawn on Wednesday afternoon and we had to wait till Thursday late morning before the results are out. So for the entire duration, no medication could be given to him. Only the drip helped to clear some toxic in his body to make him feel better and to keep him alive…..
Then came the news when we visited google on Thursday afternoon. His liver were badly infected with readings of 10 times above normal. There were so much toxic in his liver that caused him the pain he is suffering… He was given a prescription diet meant for liver, given antibiotics and anti-inflammation jabs and stayed there till Friday. He was also put on a 6 months liver suppliment known as Hepavite. We pray that it is not permanent damage.
Google is finally back home and recovering very well. He is back to his usual self now, and can whine, greet us when we are home, urinate at the right spot, follow us around the house, and can remember commands we taught him.

Google The Dog Daddy & Mummy brought me to beautiful Sentosa island. The journey there is long and dull, so i kept fidgeting, looking out of the windows… Then we stopped beside a little hut and a man greeted us. Daddy paid $6 ($2 for car entry, $4 for 2 person entry) to enter Sentosa. I’m not human, so I am free of charge.
Off we went to the beach!

- Kong toy – for 5 to 10kg breed
- One Slab of Beef
- One Slab of Salmon
- Freshly baked Cookies meant for Ah Wangs
- Oxtail –I take about 1pc – 2 pc per day. I need to take 3x a week J. These are calcium so that my bones and teeth will be strong enough to last me to be my next next next generation great grandpapa.
To be updated when I think of more… Hahaha I learn this trait from mummy!!!! But seriously have or don’t have present not important as long as you join in my belated one years old birthday.
*Treat: Doctor advises Google not to take commercial treats as he is currently on BARF(Bone and Raw Food diet) he loves it but it’s not good for him.
Note from Mummy: Before I got Google, I have always thought that he will be fine on minced Beef, Silver fish and rice diet. How much can that small dog’s food cost right? Unfortunately, it was a supra wrong perception. Not only we have to fulfill his basic essentials like food, there are many other costly items like shampoo, condition, shaver, ear lotion, rotary equipment to trim nails!!! Never did I expect dogs are like human, they cannot survive on low quality food like minced beef, minced pork, it will result in skin problems like bumps. The worse nightmare is when he falls sick… the medical bill would easily come up to a whopping 3 digit figure.
Gosh…… last but not least, I must say its worth it. You would never regret having a furkid IF you have train it well…

Google The Dog I was having diarrhea las Thursday after a meal of chicken and eggs. It got worst for the next few days and didn’t stop till Sunday. I vomited on Sunday night and so they bought me to the vet on Monday
It was terrible….. they poke something into my butt! It’s very painful and I was whining away. I think they took a minute before it was removed.
The vet taught daddy how to force me to eat pills and so my nightmare began! Look at all the pills I have to finish

Before it all finished, I was jabbed… ouch… I don’t like to go to the vet.. I promise not to be sick again ok?
Mummy said we paid to vet for "advice"… That raw chicken and eggs may have a bacteria called Salmonella, so to be safe, must cook.. I must be fed with vege and fruits or else I will fall sick easily. So i cannot be choosy. I am well now but still eating the medicine. Can’t wait to finish it and say bye bye to it. Most importantly, vet says don’t feed me any commercial treats! No more junk food for me.
Heard Karen jie jie is coming to visit me tomorrow
so i better rest well and look my best tomorrow

Google The Dog Meet Corgi…. Yes that’s his name! I met him today at Bishan Dog Run. Looks somewhat like Aimee and he’s only 1 years old. So I am his elder brother.

He runs quite fast but I can catch up with him for most of the runs. He is tired after a while and lies on the floor so often… No other friends around so I had to mimic his actions.

After an hour, I started my dominant actions against him.
He got irritated and I got scolded by Daddy. Corgi’s owner placed him on the bench to keep me away… Little did they know that I am capable of jumping… It’s ok… I pretended to be a nice boy.
