Christmas is a month’s time away and it is about time we set up our christmas tree. Google will be 1 year old this christmas and so we introduced the christmas tree to him. Initially he was afraid of all the decos and stuff.. When we took out parts of the tree from the box, he ran off to another part of the house. Shortly after, he started sniffing the tree and the boxes lying around the house. To make him feel part of the celebration…… Woofy tied a deco bell to Google’s collar.
It is indeed very hilarious to hear the bell sound - "ting ting ting…." whenever Google walks around the house. I will probably run around with him soon and laugh at his silly bell!
Google has been trying to fly off the sofa with much success. It all started when I play catch with him and he chased me around the house. I thought of jumping over the sofa to escape from him and eventually he learnt the same technique. Now he jumps off the sofa effortlessly. Much like a flying dog when I took a photo of him.
The "aeroplane" to "far far away land" - Google G380, preparing for take off.
My "Kangaroo" van and woofy’s "Blackie". Thanks God for the ride!
Google is no longer afraid of getting into the van. Now he jumps into the back of the van when I open the door. Previously, he refused to move whenever we bring him near any vehicles.
This is our Google’s new shoes. It is easy to wear and looks cool on him. Still waiting patiently for him to grow lots of fur so that I can send him for grooming to get the Standard Schnauzer Look.
We bought a choke chain for him too so that he will learn not to pull us when we bring him for a walk. Part of his obedience training
Whenever a family member leaves the house and opens the gate, Google is always ready to dash out of the house to our neighbour’s house. He is very attracted to the Silky Terrier at my neighbour’s house. I tried punishing him whenever he breaks out of house but he still doesn’t learn it. An hour ago, I took him out for a walk and I quicken the pace to jog with him. He started running swiftly and I lost the grip on the leash! He kept running even though i shouted for his name and repeated "NO" several times. He couldn’t care less and kept running. Tried grabbing him but he gave the slip twice…. With much frustration, I stepped on his leash to bring him to a halt. This dog requires obedience training!
